Let’s talk about YouTube updates. The launch window for the YouTube AI inspiration tab in the EU, UK, and Switzerland has been updated. The rollout has already started and is set to be finished by June 2nd, so keep an eye out for that.

Also, we’ve seen the first wave of community leaderboards being rolled out for live streams. And courtesy of one of our viewers, we also have a screenshot to show you. The current experiment is set to run for 3 weeks. There will then be another experiment shortly after, which we have applied for with this channel.

This also means we will bring back the YouTube Creator Q&A live streams. So, if you have any creator-related questions about YouTube, please feel free to drop them in the comments below and make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss the stream.

Up next, we have the visual guides for the Shorts creation tool in the YouTube main app, which launched this week. Whenever you place a sticker or text and try to move it around on the screen, it will display striped areas where the text might be obscured by entire interface elements, like the like button, for example. This feature is live now, so you can update your app and enjoy it.

Staying with Shorts updates, the poll stickers have received a small update. Similar to community posts, you can now mark an answer as correct, turning a poll into a quiz. The basis for this feature is still the poll sticker, which means you only get two answers to choose from—which is a bit weird. I mean, you have one correct answer and one wrong answer; it’s basically a 50/50 chance. But if you want to use it in your Shorts, feel free to do so. Let’s discuss it in the comments below; share your thoughts on whether this is a good update or not.

That’s all for this week. Please feel free to drop your comments on creator-related questions, and we will see you again next week or at the Q&A live stream whenever it is announced. Alright, take care, and bye-bye!
