SVG Morph

SVG Morph animates one vector shape into another in your browser and exports the result as a transparent video for Premiere, After Effects, and the web.

Your files are not uploaded. Shape interpolation runs on flubber and the video is encoded by FFmpeg wasm, both in your browser.

Tool description

What this tool does

SVG Morph takes two SVG files and animates the first into the second: outlines glide into their new positions, colours blend, and shapes that have no counterpart split apart or merge on the way. The result is a short clip with a real alpha channel, ready to drop over footage in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or any video workflow that accepts transparent QuickTime files.

Load a start and an end SVG, then shape the timing: hold the first shape for a moment, choose how long the morph itself takes, and hold the finished shape at the end so an editor can cut in and out cleanly. The interpolation curve decides the character of the move, from a plain linear tween to a fast exponential ease-in or a playful overshoot, and the live preview shows the exact frames before anything is rendered.

Exports come as ProRes 4444, QuickTime Animation, PNG in QuickTime, or VP8 WebM, all with transparency, at any frame size and frame rate you pick. The browser draws every frame itself and FFmpeg wasm encodes the sequence, so nothing is uploaded and no plug-ins are needed. If you only need a flat animation, the Video to GIF converter can turn the result into a GIF afterwards.

Best results come from clean vector artwork: paths, rectangles, circles, and polygons with flat fills or strokes. Convert text to outlines and expand gradients before exporting, or run raster logos through the Raster/SVG Studio first. Like every tool in this creator toolbox, SVG Morph runs entirely on your device.
